Important change in license agreement for the Transfac database:
Due to a severe change in the licensing policy for the Transfac database, it will
no longer be possible to run a local copy of the database at the DKFZ. So the current
version 2009.2 will be the last version available locally. To use the DKFZ license
in the future, it will be necessary to work remotely at the Biobase website.

Please note that we can still download the Transfac data. So if you need
access to the data-files and/or the analysis programs Match/Patch, this is still
possible via the Husar server. Again, please contact us for details.
